Devendra Mishra, The Co-Founder of BSMA and the former adjunct professor of Supply Chain Management at the Graziadio School of Business has been the president LIVE Entertainment, VCL-Carolco (Germany), Lieberman Enterprises and Technicolor, Strawberries Records and Tapes, and CEO of VSA (a subsidiary of International Multifoods). At RCA Records as the Vice President of worldwide operations. He is renowned as an international expert on supply chain management.

Kevin Pegels, the current Vice President of Supply Chain at Illumina, has over 25 years of experience in supply chain leadership roles in consumer products and biotech companies. His specialization in E2E supply chain strategy, S&OP, inventory management, and system enabled process improvement has resulted in innovations for profitability in several businesses. His previous roles have been VP of Global Supply Chain for Bayer Healthcare Biotech Division, Sr. Director Global Supply Chain for Bayer Healthcare Medical Devices Division, Sr. Director Global Supply Chain Planning for The Clorox Company, Sr. Director S&OP/Supply Planning for Levi-Strauss & Co, and Sr. Director of Deloitte Consulting. He has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University.

Horacio Enriquez, is a dynamic and innovative Supply Chain and Quality Operations executive with 25 years of semiconductor, telecommunications, consumer electronics, clinical diagnostics, biopharmaceutical, and integrated facilities management industry experience, including roles of progressive and increased leadership in Plan, Source, Make, Deliver business streams, supplier quality, risk, & compliance, and business systems integration organizations.

A graduate of Santa Clara University (BS Mechanical Engineering & MS Engineering Management), Horacio is CEO and Founder of Mission City Consulting, which provides end to end supply chain and quality operations consulting, education, and advocacy in private industry, higher learning, and government institutions. Besides being a Principal and faculty member of the Biotech Supply Chain Academy, Horacio is a UC Davis Graduate School of Management Lecturer (2019-2020 Academic Year) and Adjunct Professor (2020-2021 Academic Year).

Horacio also volunteers with the Bio Supply Management Alliance, American Association of Precision Medicine, and the California Life Sciences Association, where he has served in various roles including Chairman of the Council of Suppliers and Service Providers, Executive Education Program Founding Member, AAPM ACT Supply Chain Committee Chair, and Conference Moderator, Speaker, and Panelist (US, Belgium, Switzerland).

Dr. Khalid Shah is the Vice President and Head of Pharmaceutical Operations and Supply Chain at Exelixis. His CMC and pharmaceutical operations organization includes clinical and commercial Drug substance and Drug product manufacturing, packaging and labelling to support Exelixis marketed products. He teams have successfully taken products through the development cycle, process optimization, process validation and subsequent product launches. Recently, he managed and oversaw development, optimization, validation, and launch of COMETRIQ® which was approved by the FDA in 2012 and in the EU following approval by the European Commission in 2014. Subsequent to that, his teams successfully developed and launched CABOMETYX® in the US and EU 2016.
Dr. Shah’s clinical supplies organization supports packaging, labeling and distribution of all Exelixis ongoing and partnered clinical trials across the multiple oncology clinical study portfolio. His team has successfully provided investigational products to more than 5000 patients over the last several years

Shankar Suryanarayanan, EVP – Emerging Therapies & Technology Solutions, BSMA and Consultant, Operations Transformation, is a hands-on leader specializing in strategy development and execution in the areas of global manufacturing and supply chain management in the life science industry. He has pioneered effective adoption and implementation of leading edge methodologies like digital manufacturing and lean six sigma in a broad range of biopharma and medical device companies. His executive track record at Herbal Life, Sandoz, Roche Consumer Health, The Monitor Group and Fisher Controls International has achieved the establishment and continuous improvement of the supply chains. Multi-ste manufacturing and distribution networks in over the country drugs, generics, nutrition and instrumentation industries.

Jeff Perata is a Global Supply Chain Associate Director at Gilead Sciences in Foster City. He provides logistical and transportation support for the Commercial Manufacturing group, including global transportation, 3PL management, and transportation partner relationship management.

Albert Cooksey is Senior Vice President of Business Development and Sales for ICS. Mr. Cooksey supports pharmaceutical manufacturers launching commercial medications, including cell and gene therapies, by providing consultation throughout the sales process. He manages all aspects of business development activities to ensure RFPs meet the needs of each pharmaceutical manufacturer, while also working with clients on logistics solutions and new product introductions into the ICS 3PL support model.

Heather Erickson has served on the leadership team at Sangamo Therapeutics since July 2016 when she joined the company as Chief of Staff. In this role, she partnered with the CEO on corporate strategy, operations, and change management. Starting in October 2018, she was named Vice President of Supply Chain Management and Business Operations and tasked with building the company’s global supply chain in anticipation of pivotal studies and commercial distribution. Prior to joining Sangamo, Ms. Erickson served as the President and CEO of the Life Sciences Foundation, a national research and education foundation. Earlier in her career, she founded MedTech Association, the industry trade organization for Upstate New York’s bioscience and medical technology industry and served as Senior Consultant at the San Francisco headquarters of Edgar, Dunn & Company, an international management consultancy. She is currently a Board Member and Treasurer of the Pi Beta Phi House Corporation at University of California at Berkeley and was recently on the Editorial Advisory Board of Life Science Leader Magazine. Ms. Erickson received a B.S. in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology from Yale University.

M. Dave Malenfant, EVP, Industry Liaison & Talent Development, BSMA | Director, Center for Supply Chain Innovation, Texas Christian University. M. Dave Malenfant is currently Executive Vice President of Industry Liaison and Talent Development for the BSMA (Biotech Supply Management Alliance). He also serves as Director, Outreach and Partnerships as well as oversees the Advisory Board for the Center for Supply Chain Innovation at Texas Christian University. Dave is responsible for driving Industry relations in the Biotech, Biopharma Supply Chain for the BSMA. Prior to this appointment, Dave served on the Advisory Board for the BSMA from its inception. With a passion for talent development and career planning, Dave has helped both the BSMA and the Center for Supply Chain Innovation drive Young Professional career development and mentoring programs for students.
In 1993, Dave joined Alcon Laboratories where he steadily advanced through leadership roles such as Purchasing Manager, Materials Operation Manager, and Global Supply Chain Director before becoming the Vice President of Global Supply Chain in 2005. In this role, Dave provided strategic direction for the company’s Global Supply Chain initiatives and created global centers of excellence for Purchasing, Distribution, Transportation, Customer Service, Sales and Operations Management, Data Management, Graphic Design and Artwork Development, and Product Launches. Dave retired from Alcon in 2014.

Dave is recognized for the creative development of standardized systems and business processes, and for developing enabling technology throughout the entire supply chain. During his career, Dave has implemented over 30 different computer systems – WMS, ERP, Finite Scheduling, Product Launch, and Order Entry, among others. Dave is past Chairman of the Supply Chain Council and past member of the Executive Committee of NASSTRAC.

Dr. Ed Arnheiter teaches operations management in the Eberhardt School of Business at the University of the Pacific. Earlier he taught statistics, operations research, and operations management at Drexel University. Dr. Arnheiter has worked for 12 years as a clinical professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). In addition to his 18 years teaching, Dr. Arnheiter has eleven years of industrial experience, including roles as a Quality Manager for Titleist and Foot Joy, a Quality Engineer at GE Aerospace, and a Senior Quality Engineer for Spalding Sports. He has published on lean management, Six Sigma, process improvement, and quality management. His research investigates novel applications of lean Six Sigma methods to improve processes in health care, education, and traditional manufacturing. Dr. Arnheiter earned a Ph.D. in industrial engineering operations research, and a master of science in engineering management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Dr. Randy V. Bradley, an Associate Professor of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management and a Haslam Family Faculty Research Scholar in the Haslam College of Business at The University of Tennessee, has been appointed as the Executive Vice President of Digital Transformation in Life Sciences, BSMA. Dr. Bradley is also the co-founder and Chief Information Officer for Q-Leap Health Inc, which develops innovative, collaborative solutions for healthcare professionals and practitioners to promote team science in an effort to address healthcare disparities and health inequities. Additionally, he is a co-founder and Director of the 501(C)(3) designated Consortium on Disparities in Urologic Conditions, which is in the process of launching the Scientific Consortium on PCa Education (SCOPE) Registry.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Supply Chain Advancement Network in Health (SCAN Health) and the Advisory Council of World Health Innovation Network (WIN), based in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. He also serves on the Advisory Board of Negometrix, a Netherlands-based company with a US subsidiary that works with private and public organizations across many sectors to digitize their procurement processes.

Dr. Randy V. Bradley holds a Ph.D. in Management of Information Technology (IT) and Innovation, an M.S. in Management Information Systems, and a B.S. in Computer Engineering, all from Auburn University. He is a preeminent visionary, global thought leader, and highly sought-after speaker as a supply chain and IT strategist and researcher. In addition to his leadership roles with AHRMM, HIMSS, Negometrix, SCAN Health, and WIN, Dr. Bradley has contributed his expertise to many leading domestic and international associations, including the China Association of Pharmaceutical Commerce, Health Industry Distributors Association (HIDA), Healthcare Supply Chain Network (HSCN), Healthcare Distribution Alliance (HDA), HealthPRO, Capstone Health Alliance, Material Handling Institute (MHI), National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP), National Association of Educational Procurement (NAEP), Association for Information Systems (AIS), Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and Decision Sciences Institute (DSI). Dr. Bradley has been recognized for his excellence in teaching and promoting diversity and inclusion in academia, including the 2019 Richard Sanders Faculty Leadership Award, National Association of Black Accountants 2017 National Achievement in Education Award and designation as a HIMSS Fellow.

He has nearly 25 years of industry experience of IT transformation in the supply chain, he has consulted for and advised federal and state organizations and multinational companies.
